The following is a listing of known VSA chapter events and other Volvo related happenings. If you know of any events that are not listed, please send us a note via email so that we can add them to our calendar.

September 10-12 2010	VSA's Lake Michigan Chapter will assemble at The Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival, the annual VSCDA race at Road America. Most sports car and road racing drivers consider this the finest road racing facility in the United States. It has been rated the best in terms of availability of great food - especially bratwurst and corn. In and around the town are plenty of fine restaurants for those so inclined. As a 4 mile long track, the longest in the country, it winds through beautiful kettle moraine country with hills forests and every kind of turn imaginable. There are facilities for camping in the track itself in in the surrounding area. There are luxury resort hotel in Elkhart Lake also. We will communicate later to determine interest and where we should part our cars and gather at the track. If you have never been there, I encourage it. Bring the family. September 11 2010	Volvo Sports America Weekend Getaway- "A Day at the Museum for Vintage Volvos". Saturday Concours and Swap Meet- September 11th, 9AM - 3PM at America on Wheels Museum, 5 North Front St., Allentown, PA, 18102-5303. In case of severe weather we have September 18th as a backup date, TBA this calendar. Deadline for Concours Registration is August 11, 2010. There is no at-the-door registration. Judged awards for all classes, along with a "Longest Distance Driven" award. The Concours is open to all VSA National Members! See this Registration Form for more details.	Tony D’Agostino
September 18 2010	VSA's Lake Michigan Chapter will be meeting at Meadowdale, an old race track that folded around 1970. The remnants of that old facility are still there, but the forest and weather have mostly inundated the track and turned it back into a forest preserve. Once a year they have been having memorial car shows on what was once the main straight. There is a nice variety of vintage, classic, hotrods and old race cars that make their way to this event each year. We had nine or ten members last year and two of our vintage Volvo's were part of the show. We walked the old facility, took many pictures and enjoyed good conversation on what turned out to be a beautiful Fall day. The Meadowdale site: http://meadowdaleraceway.homestead.com/	Michael Illyes
