12:00 -3:00 PM PSVSA Spring Rain or Shine Volvo Tailgate Swap Meet. Puget Sound VSA chapter members meet with the Puget Sound VCOA club for a joint club Swap Meet Sunday 12-3 pm at Juanita Beach Park, (North end, Lake Washington). Don’t miss this 1st Spring Puget Sound Volvo club event. Learn how to fix and restore your classic Volvo from Puget Sound Volvo car club members. Please bring your classic Volvo, parts to sell, lunch and a chair to enjoy a fun day with old Volvo friends at the Juanita Beach Park, 9703, NE Juanita Drive, Kirkland, WA. 98034. Sunday – The First Nordic Heritage Museum "Swedish Iron" Old Volvo and Saab Car Show from 10:00 to 2:00 PM with a Swedish Pancake "Jazz Brunch" at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
The Nordic Heritage Museum endeavors to share Scandinavian and Nordic American experiences and perspectives, through a range of exhibits and educational, cultural, and artistic programs. At the Museum three floors of exhibits celebrate the heritage of immigrants from the five Nordic countries-Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden- and also offer an array of kids programs, craft schools, language classes, and educational classes. This Sunday the Museum will offer free admission from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM for members of the Northwest Saab Owners Club and Puget Sound VSA Chapter (regular admission is $6.00). This is a rare chance to have a Swedish Pancake breakfast at with a live Jazz band entertaining, a complimentary museum admission pass, and a great pre-1974 Classic Volvo and Saab car show in the front parking lot to support the museum. Pancake breakfast ticket pricing is $15 for Museum members, $18 for non Museum members, and a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) for $45.
